Windycon Report [Nov. 16th, 2008|01:05 am]
At Fannish Feud Friday night, the question was "Other than a guitar, name an instrument found at a filksing." Tom Smith: "pass".

Saturday, the convention managed to schedule a panel with six participants, including one of the Guests of Honor, into a room that the Fire Marshall limited to 15 people.

I normally would tell you that sometimes it's really hard to figure out which panels will have a gazillion attendees and which ones will not. OTOH, I don't think I would schedule anything in a room that only held 15 people unless I knew that's all that were showing up. (Like something that had a pre-reg.) I've also learned panels with more than 4 people are not a good thing.

This sounds as stupid as Convergence a few years back scheduling something with Larry Dixon in a room that held 12 people and was also on the 22nd floor.

I'd guess that most readings could fit in that size room. That's about all, though.

And it's easy to guess that any panel with the GoH on it will have some attendance.
